New year’s wish list

As the governments get ready for a grandeur adieu to the year 2013,
And a ravishing welcome to the chilling 2014
I blot my yellow parchment paper to disclose enlisting of my ambitious wish list.

Scarlet sky above and twinkling stars in the sea,
Misty fog enveloping the desolate streets of Delhi.

The stage is all set velvet curtains wrapping the side,
Booming music to be played and glasses hold wine wide.

The intoxicating wind driving me engrossed and complete with delirious queer,
The points begin to dot themselves through my pen and long paper.

Embarking upon the first may I try to unravel,
My desire to own a wand and be the mistress of this gravel.

Wish to fill colors in the canvass of splendid mother nature,
Second is the desire to beautify all its lush green  valleys and lusting curvature.

Thoughts fly amidst birds pleading plants not to protest,
May sparrows have umpteen branches to cement their nest.

May blue be the waters and sand be on the crest,
Third for the fishes to have a graceful swim and take a deep rest.

A hope to spread happiness: loads and loads of tonnes,
Fourth for us may we always be humans.

In the dwellings of millions may world economy thunder,
A will to employ every mind and halt loss due to hunger.

Sixth scrambling on the roll is for the wars to be formidable,
May google check in a gadget to make people more amiable.

Seventh on the parol is a patrol on crime,
May Einstein be reincarnated to win mighty time.

Dagger upon people, may they own what they prudently deserve,
Heaven bless them with intelligence’s golden reserve.

The ending wish is may all these listings be fulfilled,
May electric be the moment my wishes are distilled!
